By localizing the products and process, and benchmarking them against the M&S product and similar competing products, we created a decadent flavour and texture that surpassed our expectations. The flavour profile of this product is all about the combination and balance of specific herbs and spices to achieve the perfect southern fried taste and aroma – an indulgent experience. This coating has become the new benchmark for southern fried flavour in our coating range as WW plans to expand to other Southern Fried products.


It was a joyous day when the teams from Finlar and WW celebrated our achievement at the WW taste testing rooms in Cape Town.
